Dreaming up and burning down an effigy.

With the triumphant return of the Ontario Burning Man Regional event, I partnered with a group of wonderful hardworking humans to design, fabricate, build and blissfully demolish the 2023 effigy. Designed as a lighthouse with a mesmerizing winding staircase, Beacon featured a custom fully integrated lighting system, a massive light at the top of the tower that guests could interact with, and an immersive environment design featuring a dock, mock shore pilings, and lanterns that changed colour in time with the hero light.
